The 7th Street New Direction Gospel Choir was formed in 1997 and has been performing its style of Gospel, Contemporary and Pop music for audiences ever since. Made up of church soloists, song leaders and musicians from all over the Nashville area, this choir will always bring a high level of energy and vocal performance to any event.
Under the direction of founder and conductor Phillip Stegner, this choir can deliver a sound you have to hear to believe. From "O Happy Day", "Are You Ready For A Miracle", "Amazing Grace" and their popular "Higher Medley", to custom pop arrangements like "Celebration" and "What a Feeling"--whatever the song, this choir packs an exciting spiritual punch. They also have a "Patriotic Medley" that works great for a rousing closing to a general session.
From twelve singers to twenty-five, we can customize a program for you. Either as a program's featured centerpiece, opening or closing, The 7th Street New Direction Gospel Choir will put an exclamation point on your event!
Your gospel-themed music event can be customized by selecting your favorite songs and the size of the choir, and may also be incorporated into our productions of Country Music Showcase or Music City Showcase.
